MM: So tell me, what got you into modeling?
DB: Well, i use to want to model when i was younger, until my parents had no hope for me in that direction, so i just didn’t follow up to it. Until my artistic talents started to come about, i’ve pondered for so long and thought the interior design/architecture field will be perfect for me professionally. As i’m working on my degree to it, i thought modeling on the side would be fun. Although it’s something i’m not pursuing as a career, i just enjoy taking pictures.
MM: How do you keep up with the latest fashion trends?
DB: I don’t… I wear whatever I feel like! lol. Some days all dressed up, or some days dressed down in my bum clothes.
MM: What type of workouts is in your regimen to stay lean?
DB: 30 minutes of Cardio, and a couple sets of weight lifting. I don’t workout very much, but i do at least twice a week, now that i have a Total Bally Fitness membership!
MM: Who is your ultimate ro-model? And what distinguishable quality does she/he have?
DB: It would have to be Angelina Joile. I know- so typical, but i truely believe she’s a wonderful person inside & out. She’s beautiful, eccentric and highly intelligent. She questions what goes on around her and she’s not afraid to be sexual. On top of all that, she’s a great actress and humanitarian.
MM: Let’s talk about all the men in your life…what’s the best way for a guy to hit on you?
DB: Haha! I get hit on a lot by guys and knowing me, i take it all as a compliment, but i never take it for granted. The funny things is, once they attempt to ask me a question, i let them know right of the bat, i’m GAY! lol. And by their surprise, i just laugh a little. I guess my looks can be very decieving, but i’m just not attracted to men in a sexual way… sorry boys! And my biggest pet peeve is when guys think they can change me! Although i’m always up for any fun outtings just to have a good time. It also depends on where I’m at if I get hit on or not. The best way to approach me would to just be yourself and try not to impress me or show off. Just be down to earth and normal.
MM: Does that mean I don’t have a chance? JK. Is there a girl involved in your life at the moment?
DB: Yes, I am in a relationship. The feeling is very mutual, and i couldn’t be any happier with her :). Although we don’t get to see each other everyday, we hold a strong bond and it makes it 10 times better when we do see each other. I can almost say it was love at first sight, believe it or not.
MM: That’s exciting, good luck to the both of you. How do you view yourself compared to the other models?
DB: Honestly, i’m a little insecure about my appearance sometimes. I never think i have a better look than anyone. I mean come on, look at these girls, they’re all gorgeous! And i’m sure they worked very hard to look their greatest! But to differentiate myself from the others, i think that’s where my personality holds strong on. i’m a strong believer in that everyone has a purpose and that us being human on this planet are meant to experience many different lessons. Being not of the “norm” or not being a member of the heterosexual population, gives me a unique perspective on life and enables me to better connect with people. [Understanding, kind, considerate, & being non-judgmental]. All the things I think a good person should be.
MM: Sounds very deep, but i like what i’m hearing. What feature gets you the most compliments?
DB: Hmmm.. most people always compliment me on my smile, lips, and eyes… probably because i have very distinct dimples when i smile :).
MM: Tell me about your hobbies…
DB: Drawing, painting, being arts & crafty- making cards (yes i like to make my own cards and they’re pretty bad ass!). I also enjoy playing a few sports- tennis, volleyball, field hockey, and soccer just for fun.
MM: Haha! cards huh? nice.. Where do you like to hangout?
DB: I’m almost always hanging out at a resturaunt/bar with some friends because i LOVE to eat, or watching a movie! Whether it’s at the theatres or cuddled up on the couch. The next place you could find me is at the club dancing my butt off to trance/house music, and sometimes even r&b/hip hop, lol. I have to admit, i’m a huge club head for the big trance/house DJs that come into town (such as Armin Van Buuren, and PVD) and dance like it’s my job! haha. Music is like sex to my ears! And ofcorse, the company of my friends & family are my world!
MM: What wouldn’t you mind doing for the rest of your life?
DB: I wouldn’t mind traveling around the world, meeting great, and wonderful people. i want to do everything and experience everything. This world is beautiful and there are so many wonderful things to see & experience. I’ve lived in northern VA all my life, so that explains why i love it everytime i even step outside of the house lol.
