Leroy’s Spectra Blue IS300

The word luxury is synonymous with the word Lexus. Leroy’s 2001 Lexus IS300 is in “pursuit of perfection” with a VIP inspired style. Leroy Taylor began working on cars at the age of eighteen. He was also working for Team Lexus at this age. This is where he first gained valuable experience working on the Grand-Am Cup IS300 as well as their American Le-Mans Series IS350TT GT cars. Unfortunately Team Lexus was shutdown in late 2006. What I find interesting was finding that Leroy wasn’t sold on owning a Lexus until he saw a blue IS300 in a magazine. His VIP style inspired Lexus IS300 definitely holds its own on the show scene. (more…)

Jordan’s Euro-VIP Passat

Jordan Riegelhaupt has been in the car scene for four and a half years with his 2001.5 Volkswagen Passat 1.8T. At the age of 12 he envisioned what he would do if he owned a Passat. That vision became possible when he acquired a bone stock Passat from the dealership in 2004. A few months later he entered SouthernVolksFest which he ended up winning. After that experience, Jordan became very interested in his car. This black canvas that you see before you is his interpretation of a European / VIP style inspired Passat. His goal was to take these two elements of automotive styling and create a mixture that would suit his liking. (more…)

Jennifer Jar’s “Hello Kitty” Evo

Jennifer Jar first hit the scene six years ago with her 2000 Acura Integra GSR. I remember seeing her beautiful Integra at last year’s show where she placed first as the Hottest Female Ride at Hot Import Nights in Dulles. A year later I was fortunate enough to see her EVO at HIN in Dulles and the rest is history. (more…)
